The Big Easy!

Greg was able to take 5 days off and we went to see his family in Louisiana! We hadn't been over to the Baton Rouge area since Christmas and were really missing everyone. His little sister, Emily, just moved to New Orleans for grad-school so we decided to take a day and go visit her in The Big Easy :)

Emily and Liam in the restaurant we ate lunch at. It was called Zea and it was soooo good! It wasn't the traditional New Orleans food that I thought it would be, but it was still delicious. We all highly recommend it!

The Kehns came the same day to bring something for Emily so we all decided to go try the cannoli at Bracato's. We highly recommend it there too! Looks like it was too much for Klaus and Liam.

Emily took us for a stroll down Magazine St. and we had a blast! We were walking by this pet resort place when we passed a room full of little dogs! Liam was very excited! He and this little guy were just waaaaay too cute.

So yeah, we had so much fun in New Orleans, but we didn't get to do 1/4 of the things we wanted to do! We are hoping to go back sometime in the fall/winter and spend a little more time. Liam waved at all of the homeless people and danced to all of the street musicians in the French Quarter. Oh, and he had his first beignet from, where else, Cafe Du Monde!
