Earlier this month Liam entered a facebook contest...and won! Well, ok, so everyone who entered won, but he didn't know that would happen! Choo Choo Bob's Train Store was, hands down, Liam's favorite place in Minnesota. They had all kinds of train merchandise, model trains to watch, and about 6 train tables of wooden track for kids to play with. We loved it and went often...even though it was all the way over in the other Twin...hee hee. So I saw on facebook that they were having a contest were you submitted a picture of the child's wooden track layout and they would select a winner and give them a $25 gift certificate. Liam spent a large chunk of the morning perfecting his layout and was 100% confident he would win. Two days later they posted that they just couldn't choose and ended up giving all the kids the gift certificate and they got to be the profile photo for a day. What a class act!
This was Liam when it came in the mail. He was a proud boy! You can't spend it online...so it looks like we have yet another reason to head back up to the North Country for a little visit!
In case you were wondering, this was the photo of the layout we submitted. He even included his signature...using trains as risers! Way to go Train Man Liam!
