My efforts to get Liam to spend more time doing artsy things (and thus realizing that they are fun) are really paying off lately! His favorite things so far have been foot painting (will post that later) and....playdough! After he had so much fun with the one can we owned (plain old white playdough), I didn't mind investing the $5 into a 6 pack. Also, for Christmas, I got a hand vacuum ...the wet/dry one...that has made life glorious and so much easier (seriously, how do you have kids and not own one of these?). Playdough is nothing to clean up with that thing and the sacred rule is STAY OFF THE CARPET.

I was so thrilled to see him having fun with it.

The day we bought the new colors, we had some neighbors over for dinner. While the adults were playing with the Wii I gave the kids some playdough. Well, they wanted all the colors and now we own 6 cans of mult-color playdough , hahaha. **Cute story: The picture above is of some "food" made by Liam and our little neighbor Ella. They had heard us talking about Bon Jovi at some point and then Ella announced, "This is Bon Jovi's dinner!"
