Well, like us, you might've been thinking we'd be literally up to our eyeballs in snow by now! You'd be wrong. Absolutely WRONG. I don't even know how to tell ya'll how disappointed we are in the lack of snow and cold weather we've been having. It has snowed only twice and both of those times were under 3 inches each and melted within a week. It has flurried a couple of other times but that never lasts long and doesn't even cover the grass completely. Yesterday we actually got a dusting, but it's long gone with the above average temps. Did I mention how disappointed we all are? SO DISAPPOINTED. There isn't even a flake of snow in our 10 day forecast either. It's shaping up to be one of the mildest winters on record. Go figure and........ BAH HUMBUG. To make it worse, they call it a "brown Christmas" up here. Doesn't that sound ugly? We'd at least take some single digit temperatures and negative wind chills! Oh and the outdoor ice rinks can't even open up yet because the water hasn't frozen over. What a disappointment :( It only makes us miss home more, and this Winter needed to count because we have no idea if we'll still be here this time next year.

Had enough of me whining about the snow? Sorry. It's a bit of a raw subject around here. Greg and I get disgusted everytime we watch the news.

We got to see this for a few days and it was so beautiful. Please please please get your act together Minnesota winter!!!

One of the best light displays we found in Eden Prairie! People do not decorate as much up here as they do back home. We think it is because they have to (usually, not this weirdo disappointing winter) deal with the snow and frigid temps.

And finally, I found Liam's cars parked like this one day. I guess the Wise Men decided to arrive in style this year!
