More Duluth Day 1

This is actually in neighboring Superior, Wisconsin. We didn't get to go in, but I'm sure we really missed out... :p
Greg got pretty good at skipping rocks in the two days we were there. He was getting quite cocky about it.
Even the rocky shores of Lake Superior have wheat that needs to be harvested. He likes to bring the cutting reel part of the combine with him when it's just not practical to bring the whole machine. This picture reminds me, though, that this got accidentally thrown away!!
Those steep roads are the only reason we are scared to come here in the winter! We have been told that "that Lake" just creates a monster of a winter for the people that live there.
A "double scoop" was only 50 or 75 cents more than a single scoop. WHOA...that is a big double scoop. (The one Ginny is eating above was a single.) Look at it, it is almost as big as his head!
The skies cleared and we got these awesome views of the lake. Again, I'm not so sure about those roads in the winter...
